busy day

I went to the IMA greenhouse today for a workshop on propagation.  Two women shared succulent plants with us and showed us various methods for starting plants: air layering; leaf cutting. Then we took a brief tour of the propagation area in the greenhouse and got a 10% discount at the gift shop.  Afterwards I went to lunch at the Saigon with a couple of friends. Then this evening Bill and I went to the symphony for a lovely show of John Denver music. The slide and video presentations started us thinking about taking a Colorado trip. I get shivers at the Calypso song. The couple in back of us asked where Maureen and Dave were. Thanks Maureen. In between time I tried to figure out how to setup my voicemail on my new phone. No success today but I try again tomorrow when I am not so rushed. I made the tagine recipe from the Star and it was excellent.

Texas Tripbooking almost done

I have Honey booked at the Vet, I booked the tickets and today I booked the rental car for Elliott, Matt and me. Since it’s 2 hours from the airport to Stephenville we didn’t want Bobby spending all his time driving us back and forth. I’ve been very busy with work now that we are reaching out and doing programs at nearby Daycares. I’ll tell you more when we meet. is it tomorrow or next Thursday? Carol I am really enjoying your pictures. This last weekend Barb and I decided to go together, to Munster, to visit our families. We went Sat. morning, because of the weather, and came back Sunday.It is so much nicer driving or riding, 2 and a half hours, with someone else in the car.

No wonder it is so green

We have been here on Oahu for nearly 2 weeks now and today is the first rainy day we have had.  By that I mean it is just pouring outside, and it is supposed to be like this all day long…so it is a great time to catch up on writing postcards, paying bills online, finishing a book I am reading, do laundry etc etc
