Elsie will be moving next Month

Elliott, Jacki and Elsie and chcking out and putting a deposit on on of the Spring Mill Senior Garden Homes behind Spring Mill Rehab on 86th street. We plann to have her moved by August. There is a bus for transportation and she can have meals from the Dining room at Spring Mill if she wants. Barb was concerned about that when we talked last night. I had a good time in Terre Haute with Bobby and Rachel.. Still having trouble with sleep and the Dr. giving me meds. I am trying Yoga and exercise but not helping much yet. At least the Elsie stress should be better now that she isn’t moving in.  Matt drove to Cooperstown to be with Jen, her Dad and see Baseball Hall of Fame induction. Said longest distance he ever drove!! 14 hours one way. Did break it up by stopping in Pittsburgh, West New York and Cleveland.

Sorry I couldn’t come last night

What did I miss? I’ve enjoyed all of Carol’s pictures and new all of you put on CC. My big news is Elsie definitely has to leave Morningside in two months. Elliott and Jackie are taking her to Senior apartments. We don’t know if that will work or not. Also Going to my Reunion was ok. I was happy my friend Leslie was there. I enjoyed driving back and forth with Rhonda and being with her also at the reunion. She is just so more social than me so she left Leslie and me alot. in fact she took me to my sisters at 10:30pm and went back to the reunion till midnight. Her Dad was a teacher and coach at our HS so many came up to tell her how much they loved her Dad. I am still having sleep trouble but Summer Reading is almost over and the good stress has hurt my sleep. Elliott and I are making our second weekend trip (staying over Sat.) to Terre Haute this weekend to watch Bobby coach and maybe be with Rachel. Matt will be in Cooperstown with Jen and her Dad. When I was in Munster had great visit with family. I’m thrilled to say my parents are doing well and Mom is pretty much back to normal (whatever that is). she is again cooking and getting along with Dad. Spent time with My nephew (played chess and Uno) and my sister. What’s new with all of you?

Conversation Club this Thursday

I am still planning to have CC here on the 24th - I see that Kate will be out of town - but hopefully everyone else can come!  I will also send out an email so that Barb will know.

I am trying to get things back on track here before leaving for Minnesota on the 31st.  Have Steve’s HS reunion on August 1, a family reunion on my mom’s side on the 3rd, then our Cherrington gathering up at my brother’s on the 8, 9 and 10th.  Back to Indy on the 11th, and then to Honolulu on Friday the 15th.  Aunt Patty’s ash scattering at sea on the 18th!  Home again on the 28th.

I had my first treatment yesterday and other than having to remain in an awkward position for 25 minutes all was fine. So far no side effects.  I have two more treatments on Monday and Friday and then I will be done. I am still not allowed to swim and supposedly not to bend over (although it is very easy to forget. I am up to 4000+ steps daily and that is quite enough to use up most of my energy.
