....a little rain must fall

I think everyone took advantage of the sun shining this morning and just kept going until the rain came - not until 4 - a few hours after predicted - but I am not complaining!  We rode the long way to and from the farmers market in Broad Ripple and piddled around the yard, actually ate 2 meals in the gazebo.

Carol, good to hear that your Dad is doing well.  Recovery is always the hard part - a long road.

Next entry: Two go home

Previous entry: CC tonight

Carol sounds like your dad is going to pull through this one. You on the other hand may need some gin pointers.

It got to 80 today and kara and I did our first garage saling today. We got several fun things and didn’t spend too much.

Too true about the gin - I maintain it’s luck, but my dad would disagree.  Good news from the hospital - he had his NG tube pulled today, and had his first liquids by mouth in 14 days - he is a changed man!!  Also, his intestines are coming back to life again, things are beginning to move through.  He is one determined 86 year old.  Mother and I took a quick run down to New Ulm and back today (2 hours each way)to check on things and for her to get some clothes etc.  I was able to finally pick up the wrought iron quilt rack my dad made for my 60th bday - it’s beautiful.  As of right now, I plan to drive back to Indy on Tuesday, and my niece and sisters will hopefully be able to assist Mother here.

BTW I think we decided that I would host the next CC on June 2. Is that ok with everyone?

That’s fine with me - but I am not the social butterfly.
