ALLS Quiet
Rachel is gone - along with a cooler full of homemade bread, pie, cream cheese chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes and other goodies. We celebrated Dave’s birthday Saturday and this morning so today is just a rainy Sunday to relax from the last few days - and wash the floors and get rid of the dog hair! We went to the Pancake Europium at 86th and Ditch for breakfast yesterday - turns out if it is your birthday you stand up and the waitresses get everyone to sing to you AND you get a free Mickey Mouse pancake! I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled Dave was at all the attention! The cream cheese oreo pancake was very good.
Rachel, Aunt Gloria, and I did go to Steinmart on Black Friday - it was very quiet there and both of them were able to find some clothes they liked. Rachel now has a new tire since Discount Tire said it wasn’t safe to repair the tire with the nail in it.
We played 3 games of scrabble.

I had a bone scan today - no changes from the one 2 years ago and I haven’t taken meds for 2 years… must be the diet and exercise - or the meds are just a scam!

Good Thanksgivings for all I hope. Ours was real nice - a table full of good food and good guests all around! After the meal, the annual game time - our second year to do T.giving themed Bingo with genuine prizes. Then desserts.
Susan, hope your procedure went well and you feel ok again by now!
My last bone scan showed one hip no change, the other hip a “click” better. I think I am due again this year, and that will make it about 1 1/2 yrs since I quit taking Fosomax.

meanwhile I am on a liquid and laxative only diet. I am having a routine colonoscapy in the morning. I went to fill my prescription this afternoon for the laxative stuff and it turns out that my insurance company wants to have the MD call to give permission. who knew? Long story but I ended up getting over the counter stuff instead.
