Apples aplenty
We took the girls to Stuckey Farm on Saturday - the trees are heavy with beautiful ripe apples. We could have picked our bags full and not moved from a few trees in one row. They are 75 cents a pound this year. I remember waaaay back in the day (from the time I first went in 1983 etc) they were 23 cents a pound. A gallon of cider is now $5 and last year it was around $4. But oh well, still worth it for freshness and taste.

I’m using my dad’s iPad. The triathlon went well. Marie did stresses over these things and did end up DQ ...she left the swim almost right away but did the bike and the run. Rachel just moseyed along with the breast stroke and did fine. my sister wore a wet suit..as did Marie and it took awhile to get used to it ....changed the center of gravity.she was almost the last out of the swim…1mile then steve biked 24. By the time he got in it was about 11 and Dave stard the 6mile run…he had been waiting since 8 am for his part.
I’ve stripped the wall paper in the bathroom and washed most of the black mold off ...or at least as much as I am going to. The rest of the job is kitty’s.
Rachel went home from the weekend with a dog…on a trial basis. I am hoping she gets returned to my brother!!!
I’ll be back sometime towards the end of the week.

No garage saling for the past few weeks. I just don’t want to get out of bed that early because I can’t think of anything that I need to buy…oh yeah Polly Pockets. Ok I will get back at it.
