Busy Times for All

Hard to believe that it is the end of May - and that we even had such a rainy cool month after the last few days!

The trip to Cincinnati was very nice.  Rachel really appreciated having us to help her transport the bike to the triathlon and being there to cheer her on.  She had selected a nice restaurant for dinner on Friday and brunch on Saturday.  After brunch at noon we took the hint and left when Rachel said we could occupy ourselves while she took a nap.  We were leaving anyway.

We’ll see how much we can get our house organized before we leave for Akron.  Marie will be spending the week here.

Susan - doesn’t it do your soul good knowing that there are other trash raiders!  Was he actually going to use them as pool stairs?  Hope Bill BD celebration goes well - sorry we will miss it… unless Kevin calls and uninvites us!

I think he was going to use them as pool stairs. No imagination. I just look at the trash and think how sad it is how much stuff goes to waste. I never did figure out how to put those stairs to use but at least they have been given another reprieve.

Speaking of trash: Maureen and Kate would you mind if I added to your trash piles on Monday? Your regular day is Monday yes? The trash pickup for next week will be delayed by a day all week which means I will have a pile of trash in front of my house on Saturday when I am expecting guests who have never been here, Not the first impression I wish to make.

John and I are looking through different ends of the telescope. He thinks he has been of help because he put the dishes in the dishwasher. I wanted him to mow the lawn and he says I am ruining his vacation. He will be working fulltime next week too. My back is feeling much better but I am moving more slowly than usual to avoid the pain.

The mantle has been installed but the paint will not happen until Tuesday. I wish I could contact the shoemaker’s elves. So much to do that I am overwhelmed thinking about it. CF see if either of your sons is up for some work this week. Any amount of time would be helpful.

Susan - we are leaving town Monday morning. I believe our pickup will be on Tuesday.  You can put trash here but just check to be sure they did pick it up - as we wouldn’t trash sitting the week we are gone.

I guess kids never learn - they shouldn’t come home for a vacation!  And parents never learn either! Oh for a perfect world!

My trash will be mostly branches cut up.

I’m sorry I didn’t get back to you. Both boys are out of town. Remember Bobby is in Mass. for two months. Matt will be back on the 8th, I’m sorry. I wish I could help. What about Barb’s sons?

In from Minnesota and the wedding - just beautiful, and Matt and Alicia Ruth are a match made in heaven!!  We are pretty well done for after the 12 hour drive, so if we don’t make it downtown for the party you will know why!

When and where is next CC?
