Dave and I got home this afternoon - a long exhausting week transitioning my Dad. To say he appreciated me being there is an understatement. I picked Dave up at the Cleveland airport (45 minute drive) Friday night at midnight - flight delayed an hour. We didn’t get to bed until 1, and then my sister called - at 7 AM from Chicago to let us know her flight was going to be on time so we could leave Akron whenever wanted. I had told her that we wanted to leave early but she didn’t know our plans had changed!
Sorry I missed CC - I guess I’ll meander over to Susan’s and get a recap.
Sunday we are going downtown at 6 am to get Rachel set up for her Tri Indy - swim in the canal - not my idea of sports.

I agree with what Susan said, so good that you were able to be with your dad last week. How is he adjusting? I suppose you will find yourself making the trip to Akron a little more often from now on.
Bet you enjoyed the change of pace with Rachel here, and her activities!

Knowing how much your father your needed you and being available to serve must be priceless. Good for you Maureen. Is your dad doing ok? It must be a difficult time for him.
Swimming in the canal sounds like risky behavior or maybe just yukky. When is the competiton?
Welcome home. Stop by anytime. Well not too early in the morning. I get up at 6:00 and take my antibiotic and then return to bed. But, except for when I am walking the dogs or at swimming, I should be here trying to get the house ready for Bill to have friends over on Wednesday and again on Thursday. Right now the kitchen is so full of stuff it is difficult to walk through…not the desired ambiance. I’m getting busy first thing in the morning.
