Home from the North
Had a good trip to MN, once we actually got there. Science Fair journey last week!!! We were supposed to leave at 12:30 pm and finally got on a plane at 9 pm that night - getting up to the cities too late(nearly midnight) to complete my part of the journey, so Delta had to get us a hotel overnight near the airport. Lost a whole day of prep time for the wedding shower, but once I got to my folks on Wednesday (about 2 pm) my sister and I swung into action. The shower was on Thursday in the later afternoon, so we were able to be ready with about 30 minutes to spare! It was a very nice evening, and Alicia Ruth was so appreciative of our efforts. Then I had Friday to take it a little easy at my folks - outside it was snowing!! - and on Saturday morning we drove up to the cities for niece Caitlin’s law school graduation. It was held in downtown Minneapolis at Orchestra Hall, a block away from St. Thomas Law School. Steve drove over from Saint Paul where he had been with his folks and joined us for the grad ceremony, reception and then celebration dinner at a swanky restaurant a block away on Nicollet Mall. I went with Steve then, back to his folks where we spent Mother’s Day. Our flight back yesterday was uneventful, and we finally pulled into our driveway about 8 pm. Good to be home, and very thankful that I was able to be part of two fun events.
Sorry to hear about your brother Kate - I hope things will swing back in the right direction for him real soon! CarolFay, I will just talk to you at Starbucks tomorrow night - travel is still fun, but it can be more work in planning these days for sure!! I will probably get to Starbucks around 8:30 or so too.

Ladies,
I’m really getting anxious about flying, by myself, packing, boarding pass and how to check my flight on line. I need your expertise tonight. I’ll get to Township Starbucks as soon as I can. Kate, I hope we see you. Barb knows about tonight and I’m pretty sure she is coming.
