How was last night?
I’m sorry I didn’t make it but I have a ligit excuse. Driving home from work I ran out of gas (first time) at 79th and Zionsville road. None of my men could help me so Elliott told me to Call AAA. We have the Plus plan so They come out and give you a gallon and a half of gas for free. it was half hour wait. Then I had to go to Aldi to pick up some things for dinner (after I filled up the gas tank). It was after 9:30 by the time we finished and I cleaned up. I helped Boby with packing, also. He is in a wedding, tomorrow, in North Carolina. He went to Rachel’s last night and left today from there. She is flying to NC tomorrow and driving back with Bobby Sunday. What are all your plans for the holidays? Elliott works tomorrow ( Volleyball Tournament) So it’s ladie’s Day at the movies. He just found out he has another Kidney stone and will have another procedure next week. We probably won’t do much but we do have plans to go out to eat, Sunday night with another couple! it’s Official. Elliott will start being a NC building Sub on Sept. 21st. Both Bobby and Elliott will go to the substitute orientation this month.
I am going to the Messianic Jewish service, with Nancy Woody, tonight. Jen said she does want to go with Matt and me, next Friday, to the service. Nancy and I will find out more info tonight. Elliott has football. Have a good holiday.

We had a nice weekend, Delaney and Ella took turns visiting us. Delaney is a great helper to have around, I just assign a task and she does it willingly - from making deviled eggs to trimming back a forsythia bush! Of course there is a little cash involved… Ella is excited because this week she is Star of the Week, but worried because she has to read a book to the class - that’s still a struggle for her. We had everyone over yesterday for mesquite smoked turkey on the grill.

The only time I actually ran out of gas I was at 86th and township line road and heading for Ditch road to get gas.
My Cincinati friend came over Friday and she went gsaling on Saturday. We had fun commenting about the oddities of human nature and finding deals. She wanted a kitchen for her granddaughter to play with and found a set with oodles of interesting (plastic)foods. We went to Brugge for lunch. As I was eating my fries I was thinking about my friend who just had a gastric bypass. I have lost 10 pounds since May mostly from doing extra exercise. I walk for a minimum 30 minutes daily with the dogs.

Good conversation and company as always…although you and Kate weren’t there so it wasn’t complete!
Susan and I plan to do a hike in Zionsville this Wednesday at 4:30 with the Indpls. Hiking Club. I saw another outing at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on the 2nd and 4th Fridays and Saturdays I believe till the end of October if anyone is interested. It is with the Historical Landmark Society - they do a walking tour.
You’ll have to let us know how the Messianic Service was.
That was a short retirement for Elliott - hope he enjoys the next 2 weeks!
