I can’t believe it’s May already

Today was finally a beautiful day after all the rain we have had. I went with Mom to the Hooverwood Mother’s Day brunch. Then I took her for a walk to the JCC. The next two days I work and go to Nora Elementary for Summer Reading presentations. I can’t believe April is over and in a month Summer Reading starts. I have a lot going on in May. Next week I’m going to Crown Point on the 15th and Munster on the 16th. I’m visiting my friend Leslie then going with Eddie and Josh to Bobby’s baseball game against a team in Chicago. Then I’m coming home Friday. The following week Elliott and I are going that Thursday to St. Louis for the holiday weekend and my birthday.

We drove up to Kara’s for brunch today. Not only did she give me flowers I also got a hand-me-down iPhone. Another thing to learn.

I plan on coming up on Tuesday. Not sure how long I will stay.CH are you still fighting off that NY cold? CS yes time does seem to speed by.
M are you settled on the sale of your house?

Hard to believe we have been here for two weeks and my clothes are still not all unpacked. Most mornings I am awake at 5:00a. I sweep the floor daily. We go to the main building for our free breakfast. Later I get dinner cooked and do the dishes and get one not regular task done and then I am done for the day. This morning I caulked the back door where water seems to enter. Hope that fixes the problem. Next I need to fix the blocked drain in the refrigerator which makes ice pile up on the floor of the freezer. always something exciting(LOL)
