It Works!

I haven’t looked at our new site so I’m sure I’m not the first one to post, after Carol, but I’m home from Kentucky and so excited I could get in and post about the weekend. I enjoyed the drive, to Kentucky, with Elliott and Elsie. We got their about 5:30 PM. Rachel and Matt came much later. It rained, some of the day, but the ceremony was still great, especially when Bobby got his sash and Masters in Arts and Education. Also I enjoyed Ashley Judd’s Keynote Speech. Rachel’s Parents sat with us and after the ceremony we all took pictures and most of us went to lunch ( not Elliott or Elsie. They went home). I enjoyed getting to know Rachel’s parents. They left after lunch, Bobby had baseball practice and Matt worked on his Laptop. Rahcel and I had some great girl talk time which I will tell you aobut next CC. We also went to the Pinicle, which I will also tell you about. Today Matt, Rachel and I had a great Mother’s Day lunch at Don Paublo, on the way back to Indy. Bobby had to leave for Floriday, with his baseball team, at 8:30 AM. I’m spending tonight alone with Elliott. How was all of your Weekends?

Next entry: Have been meaning to give this report!!

Previous entry: to Steve

Sounds like you had the best time with the girl talk. Kara and I had fun Saturday garage saling but really didn’t spend much. Kara and Al made brunch today and Kara put my bridge together. The rest of the time I puttered in the back yard. Next weekend Bill’s sisters will be here. A little cousin reunion Saturday night but we have to find a restaurant that has selections for vegetarians…not the Brazilian restaurant.

What a great weekend CarolFay!! Can’t wait to hear more about it.

Nice day for you Susan!  Where are you going to put your bridge?

My Mother’s Day was quite lovely.  After church we went to late brunch at Cracker Barrel.  I got a pretty daisy mum plant from Taylor, Melissa and girls and a gift ctf for another massage from Matthew and David.  I will make use of that when I am done planting in a couple of weeks!!  I phoned my mother this evening and had a nice visit, and Steve did the same with his mother this afternoon.  We so appreciate having mothers to honor.
