Land of Ice and Snow

Real winter exists, and after living in Indianapolis for over 30 years it seems sometimes like I have gone soft on all of this!  Lots of blowing and drifting and icy roads on the way down to New Ulm from the airport, but now am warm and comfortable at my folk’s house!
Also, I return to Indy on Tuesday Jan 31 (not Wed 2/1 like I said at CC) so I will be able to have CC at my house, no problem, on Thursday February 2!

Sorry I didn’t make it to CC, last week.Elliott is giving in and going to Texas when I asked him to go. I can’t believe he is going to miss two Pacer Games. I hope to go to Carol’s house for CC next week.

Carol,  You are returning on Tues… assuming you don’t get snowed in!

I am stripping the wallpaper in the kitchen… this project will take me well into spring! It doesn’t look as if the wallboards have ever been painted so after I strip and wash the walls I will need to prime them…It is one of those jobs that I can do but hiring someone sure is tempting…

Wall paper stripped, washing the glue off the walls and looking for a contractor to do the drywall work. I’ll find out how much they will charge to do the painting…it may just tell me how much I am worth!
I have a quart of green paint to give to a good home…decided against that color.
