Sorry I missed CC
After Sue’s insiteful email and Carol’s News I really feel bad I am behind with the CC news. I have some news. I will be on Channel 59, this Friday, at 8:20 PM. promoting the libraries November program Called Super Kids, Super Welcome. We are partnering with the Indpls. Superbopwl Host Committee. Children are encouraged to color a welcome card that will be placed it the Hotels, around the city, welcoming Super Bowl Fans. Last night I was at the fairgrounds handing out over 1000 zombie toys for Trunk or Treat (safe trick-or—treating). I better get back to weeding books.

I assume you will record your moment of fame. We had only 21 children last night. I think this is fewer than we have had even when the weather was awful. Some of the neighbors were not home and had their lights out so I guess our block was pretty much skipped.
No matter how prepared one is for the death of a loved one it usually still is a jolt that it really happened.
Tommorrow night I am going to Butler to hear a scientist talk about the bonobos monkeys she trained to do sign language. There was a good novel by Sara Gruen that highlighted them called the Ape House. Right now I am reading a novel that takes place in Saudi Arabia. (It is by an American woman who lived there for several years. Her first novel was Finding Noef. Both mystery books are well written and reflect the atmosphere of living an almost cloistered life. Thank God our lives are not restricted like that.)
