There’s no place like home
I drove home yesterday, a day earlier than I’d planned. I left Pine City early Sunday morning (it was 38 degrees!) and was here by about 7 pm, 750 miles. The reunion was fantastic - we had a good turnout, 55 classmates out of 120 (7 have passed away). I had several people greet me and I did not know who in the world they were to save my life (they hadn’t put on their photo name tags!!). No friend like an old friend - some I have known since 1st grade, 50 years ago. The night before at my friend Rob and Wim’s lake cottage was alot of fun too, I think we could have talked all night. So now I am back, and getting ready for our good Minneapolis friends Deb and Gerald Bischoff to arrive Tuesday. Gerald has business in town. They will leave Thursday I think, so if by any chance Raquel does have CC I will be there.

And you brought such nice weather with you! Dave and I were the high bidder on both a 3 month JCC memebership and a 6 month YMCA memebership - let’s hope they have different start dates!
