This and That

The tanker truck explosion is sure causing an inconvenience for travelers!  86th Street from Meridian to Castleton is bumper to bumper going east.  I hope the interstate opens soon.

I checked travelocity out of curiosity - the tickets are now selling for $400 round trip to Honolulu.  No wonder it is hard to fly stand by - people buy their tickets at the last minute to get the deals.  Oh well, we paid 600 and have confirmed seats.

Looks like the sun is shining today ... plan to clean the gutters and mulch leaves.

Heartland Film Festival was enjoyable for the most part.

Maureen, I really enjoyed my first experience at the Heartland Film festival (I enjoyed going with you, an expert) and do plan to go next year, hopefully at the beginning of the festival. It’s been a great four day weekend but going too fast.Last night I had agreat girl’s night out and Vicki’s birthday celebration. We had a great burger and onion rings special at Flemmings. Then we saw a good movie, Law Abiding Citizen. It was a good thriller. Today I mght go pick apples and I’m going to the song book Hadassah program. I’ll tell you about it after I go.

Enjoyed Heartland except for the subtitles?  Where is Flemmings - haven’t had a hamburger and onion rings in a long time!

Susan ... did you go on the hike?

Great hike at Del Webb. Enjoyed it very much. I spent most of the two hours chatting with a woman named Susan. Our friend from Cincinatti was here last night and I went on a walk with her after dinner. Not sore but tired.
Went to get my blood draw for the diabetes program this morning. Found out I only lost one pound. I missed my usual morning nap and Jack was so confused. He sat in the hallway and kept staring at me. why wasn’t I going back to bed.? Have an awesome trip.
