Time to Start a new Post

Sue, I’m sorry about the muscle prep for your surgery. I remember a couple of my friends having the surgery and the recovery time wasn’t long or bad. if I can help with anything, after the surgery ( getting movies, etc from the library like I did for Maureen or anything else) let me know. Carol. you always have such a good time with your grandaughters! Barb and I are hoping to go to Munster this weekend, even with the snow storm possible. My Mom is worried, of course, but we are planning to go Friday, before it starts. I want to celebrate Chanukah with my family since Elliott’s family really doesn’t do anything. Matt is in Orlando and said it was 51 degrees yesterday ( I think I heard somewhere in Florida it’s 25 degrees today) The whole country sure is cold! Maureen, it sounded like you enjoyed your trip. Besides Munster my only trip in the near future will be to Iowa, in the Spring. I have to tell all of you, the lady who is displaying her art( in our display case for this month) teaches painting, out of her house. I’m considering going to her house and checking out the classes. If any of you are interested come to pike to see her and her student’s work.

Hope you have safe travels CarolFay and Barb - sounds like you will get out of town ahead of the storm.  I sure hope Steve gets off to London ok on Saturday at 5 pm - I am soooo looking forward to him being gone until the 20th!  Mostly I am looking forward to him getting back to work at something again - since he retired a year ago, he’s designed several new websites for clients, but for the past two months he has’t had anything but several trips up to MN!

CarolFay - if you sign up for the painting lessons let me know.  Depending on the cost, time, and location I may be interested.

Carol - Does Steve ever read our site - and know that you are looking forward to him being gone??? Carol if you want to go to the Y and do their weights let me know - it is good to switch up the routine.

I am enjoying my days - breakfast, crossword, computer stuff, Bible reading, then exercise, and errands pretty much fill my days. I have done some shopping - and returns - just for stuff for Dave and me that we needed.

no - Steve never reads our site - so feel free to say anything you want!  By the way, I am reading “The White Spider”, written by the first climber to successfully summit the Eiger in 1938.  I have to say, mountain climbers are a whole breed apart from me!!!  Have to admire Kevin and Jen!

Headed out to Fishers tonight for Ella’s school Christmas program - she has a line to speak and is soooo excited.
