trip and back
Saturday we went to Bill’s home town (about a 3 hour trip without stops). It was homecoming weekend and there is a dinner for alumni and the homecoming dance. Bill knows everyone or what family they come from so he really enjoyed smoozing. We returned at 2:00a. Everything over there is so green. I guess they got all the rain this summer before it got here. The boys stayed the night with my son-in-law and they frolicked with Charlie.
I went to the doctor on thursday and he said the pain in my left shoulder is rotator cuff. (the doc is on the field for Colts home games so he knows his injuries) I have exercises to do and I have been icing it which gives some relief. I think that walking the dogs may have jerked my shoulder around. I am sure that I will manage to lift chocolate on tuesday.

Trips home always provide some feel-good moments! It’s nice that you made the effort to stay connected with the old home town, not easy I would guess once the parents are gone.
Hope that the exercises etc will help alot, so that you don’t need surgery!!
When the girls were here this weekend they both asked if Mrs. Glennon had called with Polly news! I said that it may take quite awhile to come upon another deal like the first one, maybe never, maybe not till next spring!!
