While Waiting for the Rain

We drove instead of riding our bikes… but we went from the Broad Ripple Farmers Market to the Art Museum to see them banding the humming birds. It was fascinating watching him catch the humming bird (after it flew into the cage) and cradle it in the foot of an old pantyhose - determine the sex, age, and then banded it.  We then went to Cord Camera to price new cameras and to Whole Foods… we were a little early for the back to school snack food sampling but there were still other samples…

Still waiting for the rain…

The hummingbird banding sounds interesting. I saw it in the paper this morning but we were headed to g. saling in Butler/Tarkington. How did you hear about it?  I bought miracle balls to realign my back. I may have changed my life for $2. Carol are you still interested in Polly Pockets? I spent $2 on them. I retold the story about Ella needing to prepare for at least three days to go to the dentist and got lots of laughs. Kara bought a composter for $2 and many other things including a pair of shoes for a quarter which she thinks will go for $25 on ebay. Friday I am heading to Warsaw to participate in my friend’s garage sale.

sorry to miss the hummer banding!  I love those little birds.

I haven’t gone to an Oasis class for a couple of years, was disappointed in the last ones I attended.  But I am planning to do the Oasis tutoring again this year - it will be my 5th year already.  I’m trying to decide if I should just work at Nora this year instead of Greenbriar - it would be nice to be so close.

Yes, I’ll take the Pollies.
