Flights from New York were cancelled yesterday so John got to spend an extra night in the airport. He considered going to stay with a friend but he decided that the cab fare($100 round trip) wasn’t worth 4 hours of sleep. Then in the morning he had to fly to Atlanta to get to Indy. He was quite impressed with the new airport. He arrived at 2:00p and his baggage did too. Surprise! He was tired so he went to bed for the night at 6:00. He said to us: wake me up in the morning around 8 or 9. Bill only heard the 8 or 9 part but I intercepted him before he woke him.
Carol When will you get Honey? what about the skin condition? I have been too busy to stop at the Humane Society and am trying to hold off until the end of May. I like being on vacation.

Oh for nice! So happy you have your son all to yourselves for awhile to spoil before he flies off again.
It’s snowing here, several inches on the ground already. But like a good Girl Scout, I am prepared. Brought my boots, scarf and gloves. I drove 686 miles on Saturday and made it in just over 11 hours - freeway or fourlane almost the whole way.

Carol, You are nuts driving 11 hours. Maybe I am just getting old!
11 hours is all relative. I do get stiff after all that time in the car. As long as you can drive straight through and avoid weather problems. speakling of which I need to be out in the yard today before it starts raining again.
Yeah Rah, My vacation has offically started. I’m thrilled even though I have a Dr. appt. tomorrow, at 8:00 AM. Elliott and I are picking up Honey Friday. I’m taking her to our Vet on Monday. Her skin condition has cleared up. I checked her when I met her. We can’t wait to get her! MaryAnn said she will be here, Tuesday, around 4:00 the latest. Carol, what time di you tell her to be at the Church? I’m happy you made it to Minn. Sue, I’m happy John is here and that you had a good time at the Pacer game. I was there. I’m not going Friday night since it’s Honey’s first night here. Matt is working the final four in Detroit. He is leaving tomorrow and coming back Tuesday. I’m for MSU! (big ten)
CarolFay, MaryAnn said she needed about an hour at least to set up her statues etc. so wanted to be at Pilgrim by around 6:15 I believe. (I don’t have access to my old emails here on my web mail in Minnesota, so can’t say for certain about the time she wanted to be there.) I will be at Pilgrim by 6 pm at the latest on Tuesday.
